Fall Fun So Far

This has been a jam-packed Fall, and it isn’t even Halloween yet! (Which, by the way, I’m spending watching a production of Dracula on the stage. How fitting!) In September I was thrilled to be a part of two reading series: The Inner Loop and Fall for the Book, the annual literary festival at George Mason University. Here are some highlight photos of the panel at FftB:

We laughed, joked and talked about all the crazy things we've researched in front of a packed room.

There were obvious perks to this panel: I got to hang out with well-established and truly awesome writers and hear all their bits of advice. But what this short but interesting/informative/funny hour reaffirmed for me was how fun writing urban fantasy, or any kind of supernatural elements into a story are. Oh, and did I mention I got to hang out with awesome authors?!

Next up: HallowRead in Ellicott City. The fun continues!
